• Every patient has the responsibility to follow visiting hours.
• Every patient has the responsibility to accept restriction of visitors if health status indicates such action. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to follow regulations regarding television use, noise, and telephone usage. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to wear proper garb as indicated by condition. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to follow regulations set up for gifts of food or flowers. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to accept full responsibility for any consequences due to refusal of treatment or medication. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to sign and accept responsibility for release of siderails if condition indicated and patient refuses them. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to sign and accept all consequences if patient releases self from hospital. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to supply accurate and complete information about past illness, hospitalizations, medications, and other matters related to health. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to notify doctors or nurses about unexpected changes in his/her health problems. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to tell the doctor or nurse immediately if instructions are not clear as given. Every patient is responsible for following the treatment plan recommended by the practitioner primarily responsible for his/her care. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to fulfill financial obligations resulting from healthcare and treatment given. 
• Every patient has the responsibility to adhere to the policies set forth by the Hendricks Community Hospital Association.
