The care your physician prescribes
may require the services of up to a dozen or
more specialized types of personnel. Some are behind the scenes, such as the business office,
medical records, food service, and maintenance personnel. Other you
see daily.
24-hour Nursing Service is provided to you by
Registered Nurses (RNs) who supervise and evaluate
nursing care for each patient.
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Nursing
Assistants (NAs) also provide individualized nursing
care.
All staff such as laboratory, radiologist
technicians, occupational and physical therapists,
housekeeping, laundry, etc. may be identified by their
name tags and their specialized services.
